I’m a pretty big fan of these as far as neutral buds. I’ve always been interested in the filter set (especially brown) but never tried those myself.
How it is put in the ears?? You have to have gigantic depth!
Haha yes they go in very deeply. It is uncomfortable at first, but for most people it becomes alright within a week.

I look at these since the beginning of my iem journey. They seem to be a kind of top player for vocal/mids, but the fit scares me, and I have a hard time finding these on a store that ships in EU for a decent price (I found them in EU for approx 170€ which is like double the price compared to the US).
Package Contents:
They are a thing of beauty
I love the looks. I also love that they sound better than they look
I had to see if they were working, they are back in a box But I did a nice 30 mins QC check
I bought on amazon US for 100€ with shipping. In the us they are like 50usd 🤦
Oh my! I swear I looked on Amazon, and either they weren’t in stock or they wouldn’t ship to France.
But nevermind, I added them in my cart, waiting for more reflexion (and your review )
sometimes they go for 60usd on amazon (like I got). Rest was taxes and shipping. 1 day deliver, easy peasy.
This might take a while. Igor shipped back my ST1 today and he added Hifiman RE600 v2. He also sent me Yuan Li. So I’ll be able to compare the follow neutrals:
I spent more time with my audiosense dt300.
The more I listen to them, the more I like them. I got used to the pressure build-up (and found some tricks to diminish it) and installed some xelastec tips on it (M size, I was sure they didn’t fit, as they weren’t comfortable at all the first time I tried them, and since I wear S size spinfits ).
With that setup, they can fight with Arias: the bass tuning is not really my cup of tea in the dt300, and it has no slam (not that I need it, but having it is kinda cool though). The highs are more recessed on the dt300, so they manage some instruments better. And most of all, they handle mids better!! The speed of the single DD Aria is no match with the balanced armature of the dt300. The voices are more forward on the dt300, and more precise: I can hear more variations in the notes. The track that revealed it is “creep” from postmodern jukebox.
So, the dt300 is not as versatile as the aria (or even the mele for that matter), but for a vocal-centric set, it does a great job. It’s with the 90€ I paid for. At 180€ (the retail price, I bought them 2nd hand) though, I can understand there are many sets that will be way more capable in different genres.
60$?! I see them at 80€ for now, with a iPhone DAC and some extra tips (or 90€ alone… Very logical…) . That makes a new reason to delay this buy.
BA master race for mids
Nice track. My RSV loved it
The day as come… but fear not, the meme about my timeless delivery date will still be up for a good while…
As some of you know, I bought 7hz Timeless in september but it’s still in customs and probably will be for a while. I decided to keep the trolling going on and make a give away.
I decided to throw a starter pack for some of you out there:
Let the memes begin. Good luck everyone!
3/2023 like my EJ07M
How do these sound compared to your other single DD IEMs? Like the Mele?
I was a bit surprised to find that my Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro sounds better than the Mele…but I guess it retails for 2x.
