Are you located in the US @HariramV ?
No I am in Indiaā¦thanks for sharing the link though
Sorry, I didnt. Cant help you that one buddie
Save up a bit more and buy Tea 2. If you can save up 190,save some extra and get better iem
It gets great reviews donāt think you will regret your purchase if fact you should quite enjoy them very much.
I would even say that at that price, it is a steal, if i belive @Tonytex_Teixeira review saying that it is almost a Tea 2 at 100$ less; if for you @HariramV it is 150$ less, Iād say ājust go for itā.
The worst thing that could happen is you donāt like it and you could sell it for the price you paid it (or 10~20$ less if you are in a hurry)
I have them both. Short answer āIf you can stretch your budget or get a good deal get the Tea 2ā
Mega 5P is a very competent iem, if you can get it for under 200. I like it a lot and it has a place in my collection, at least for now. Itās very smooth and I mean very smooth with its mids and treble presentation. Nothing ever really jumps out at least with my music collection. However, in my honest opinion, it lacks the musicality of Tea 2. Tea 2 just has that extra bite Iām looking for in my Mids and treble. Also, at least to my ear, Tea 2 has a little extra mid-bass and better sub-bass, both of which I prefer.
Got itā¦thank you allā¦seems need to save a bit for tea2ā¦I dont have a hybrid in my collection soā¦will enjoy S12 Olina etc in a while then.
Also look at the Yanyin Canon fantastic IEM and the tuning changes really are noticeably different that would be my pick out of the 3.
Hey @nymz, I was curious how the Kinda Lava DD is better than the Mahina DD. Can you explain like Iām 5?
More horsepowerā¦=louder rumble. Youāre welcome
Better slam and texture, mostly due to the decay of the DD and probably the coating/magnet. More lean shelf of the KL also helps to amplify this effect.
Man it really sucks to have not gotten the sound that it was made for. I have the red metal shell (love that lookā:drooling_face:) version and not having that chunk of sub-bass and midbass made me go back to the Mele (until I got the Kai) when I found I was missing the THUNDER . Iāve seen people have said theyāve EQād them to the intended sound but without having the gear to find where my set sits on itās own sound I feel like Iād be screwing around on it for too long. Am I overthinking it though and just try to poke at the equalizer on my Sony A105 for a bit? Sorry, my brain is going a mile a minute right now lol
Yes, you are over thinking. Doesnt matter what you got, EQ to what sounds good for you. Thereās no right or wrongs in personal audio
This the first lesson of the hobby. I have a good friend, who might be or not be @Tfaduh, who likes most of the sets he listens to, and heās the most stacked guy I know.
Do whatever makes you enjoy ur music. And I love Mahina btw. I think it has a terrific balance for what it wants to achieve, and HBB nailed it.
Trust you me I had that lesson on lock down a long time ago
The lesson(s) I need though is how to properly EQ sub-bass and midbass on the Sony Walkman A105 music app, or a different recommend music app since I can download about anything onto it. I need it explained to me like Iām 5, or at least pointed in the right direction that will read like I am 5 lol
My dude, dramatic pause THANK YOU!
No problem
Enjoy
out of the box impressions?
