Congrats to Dom! Thatā€™s awesome.

Yo CapitƔn! If you have a chance on your next graphing period, could you check that uploaded Frs and targets show up on your graph? When I try it currently, they upload but show up blank on the graph.

If you can thatā€™d be great. No worries, if thatā€™s low priority. Love you! :kissing_heart:

Iā€™m having the same issue only on certain squigs. Thereā€™s a few places in the source code files that could possibly block this assuming it wasnā€™t intentionally done. Iā€™m not sure how much control is granted to those on squigs to change the main config. Maybe @nymz can chime in as Iā€™m not sure if he only has the ability to update the IEM dictionary and style.css.

Assuming itā€™s not locked out, itā€™s not an isolated issue and @nymz canā€™t fix it Iā€™ll l take more of look. It could be related to part of one of the configs that tell the website what line of the .txt file to start reading from. Itā€™s possible each person adjusted thereā€™s to read it starting at a different line.

Today, while walking around with my KL MK2s, I shot this. Spring is very beautiful here, but Iā€™m not the best photographer.

Say @nymz, what is your favorite sound signature? Is it what the 64 Audio at the top of your list represents?

Also can you select where in the song you want to be on that thing?

@nymz Iā€™m sure youā€™ve seen this:

It sounds good on Z300.

Thatā€™s like asking for a favourite dish when thereā€™s so much out there.

That question is way too complex but the short version is neutral with a bass boost or a warm balanced. Lately more of the former. It gets messy once you see the infinite styles available inside each label - a great example of this is how many ways to do a pinna gain region and still keep the same tuning.

No, U12t is the sum of all parts. Its special sauce lies within the subjective aspects like itā€™s almost speaker-like stage and dynamics, where the tuning is pretty accurate with insane treble extension (pretty audible 20k Hz).

Thereā€™s no perfect IEM and this hobby is heavily subjective. Everytime I think of a close to personal perfect tuning on an iem, RSV comes to mind, if you ignore its treble extension and the intangibles. Im also a very public fan of the ā€œqdcā€ tuning, like the VX, SA6u/mk2 or the Tea2. Those usually it my hrtf and give a great joy. And then Meteor comes around and brain goes brrr brrr. Or something im getting next month that looks like a gold plate winner.

I find it easier to pick great things from each iem than to pick an iem to rule them all. Imagine an IEM with Z1r bass, mona2 mids, helios treble, u12t extension/stage/dynamics, Gaea clarity and detail finished by 7hz Zeroā€™s price tag. Yeah that would be sweet :joy:

I did not, but Iā€™ll do once I sit on my desk.

You mean stage?

I mean like how you can touch the screen on a song to wherever you want it to be.

Re-reading your top favorites of 2022 what is it about the Kinda Lavaā€™s treble that isnā€™t too approvable?

I wonder what that could be :smirk:

By the way, shameless plug

Ah, yeah you can!

Iā€™ve just answered that I like neutral :stuck_out_tongue: ej07m treble is not neutral.

Back in 2021, I was one of the first to jump the gun on it in these forums, and shilled it for a very good while. Trust me, I got nothing but love for that set.

Preferences change and most important, so do libraries. Still great for metal and electronic music.

Awesome to hear as I ordered it for my lady and I to share .

Ah of course! Itā€™s a darker treble yes?

Yes. Thereā€™s a low/mid treble dip that makes it less detailed but also way more forgiving and easy to use for hours.

These peaks (has a raise again with the extension ests) are what makes it ā€œholographicā€.
