Short runs are unfortunate, but for a company as small as Symphonium it makes sense. Plus, if the acclaim is high enough, it could lead to another release down the line (either a re-release or whole new unit). Kinda like what happened with the SA6U and SA6mkii.
I was too dumb to realize people here already bought a pair
50 is an extremely low print run, but it makes sense because it’s a kilobuck IEM made by a boutique company.
DIVA PTSD INTENSIFIES
The new “Law of QC” I learned: Quality control is evenly bad across price bracket & brands
The other law I discovered: Chi-fi QC is a wild wild west and comes down to a coin flip
And to comment in @VIVIDICI_111 defense before it’s asked or brought up. I personally measured each channel four times. Removing the IEM from coupler, took the tip off/placed back on and inserted IEM back between each measurement. Results were consistent between each read. Also, the coupler registered other sets without imbalance before and after the Diva measurement.
First time I saw that I was like “Why did you put two different IEMs under Diva? Stop it!”
Bro I WISH…
My only hope is this isn’t how it left from Elysian and only occurred afterwards from user mishap or possibly a fault in the build not done intentionally.
Here is a gif from my homeland. Something has come over me in a slimy mood.
But things are serious enough for a $1600 IEM!
Bro I’m using this in my review LMAO
Quick poll guys, do you think this is acceptable for a $1600 IEM?
This is maybe one to two degrees better than just setting $1600 on fire…
So no. It is not acceptable
I expressed my opinion with a gif. Not acceptable even in the $300 range. Not to mention $1,600. Collaborating with a smaller company leads to this! I guess I’ll really stop in the $600-$700 range.
Jay needs to use your gif in his video too
Its terrible yes, but the bigger question is if they will do something about it for you.
They wouldn’t cover the return shipping.
…is this for real?
Yupppp
Lee compared himself to Apple lol. Like bro MAYBE you’re Samsung or Pear if you’re lucky
“We did state clearly on the warranty card that customers are liable for the shipping cost of the IEM if ever there is any warranty claim. For example, if you ever buy an Apple iPhone from any Apple store and unfortunately it being faulty, you will still have to have it sent back to Apple. Apple will not cover your transport bill or shipping cost. Please understand that every company has it’s own policy. If you insist to sent it to directly back to us, at most we can only cover the shipping back to you.”
Our group chat had feelings about this
