Based on the written part of the review I assumed the tier score would be somewhere in D as description make Neon a completely flawed from tonality point of view set (even for bassheads), with not so good technicalities, so B+ is kind of surprising.
Are you sure you are not too nice? Because B+ makes it theoretically better in sound quality than HM, Mele, Titan S etc and on par with ER2XR, Lokahi in your tier list
Well, I am nice but the point being is that it has better techs than does, besides stage. And lower end (sub) is incredible!
I also try to factor out some of my bias torwards thr tuning.
Now I see that you compared Neon to T800 in your review. It is interesting that you praised both a lot as in fact I loved my T800 set I used to have for couple of months (actually I think that I would rebuy it once when I am more settled in life) and now I love Tea.
It is interesing to hear what is your take on Tea as you like T800?
Does anybody know which IEMs of the price of Neon or higher price with V-shaped tuning is Top of the top- S level ( tuning, resolution, dynamics)? I ask because Iâm curious, but Iâm not V-shaped head.
Z1R maybe?
Edit: I mean it is HIGHER priced
âŚAye and thatâs why Z1R is in more respected reviewers S tier than any other setâŚthe graph doesnât tell the whole story but if it fits your ears they will
Im loaning him both teas after Iâm done with the review, but Olina first. He will get RSV first
So was just about to check out with the Tea Mk2 and looks like Linsoul doesnât offer prepaid VAT shipping through YunExpress above a certain price?
Might just have to go through DHL and cross my fingersâŚ
Huuum I actually have no idea as I only use DHL. You could try to reach their CS or Deng on their discord and ask about it. Pretty sure they can hook you up
DHL is 100% VAT according to my knowledge
When I try to check out the only shipping option is DHL Express with âtaxes unpaidâ in parentheses.
Although interestingly when I try to check out with a cheaper item (FH3), YunExpress is available, but the added VAT doesnât show in the payment summary like it has previously for me.
Iâve written to CS and Deng on Discord. Hoping to hear back quick.
Yes, the VAT you would pay at custom clearance at your country, which would be handled by DHL. At YunExpress there is a slight chance that it wonât be charged at your local post office + on top of that LinSoul marks package with lowered value (e.g. my tea value was declared as 30$, so I only paid 23% of that)
I see.
I havenât imported with taxes unpaid thorugh DHL before.
Iâve had my share of headaches when importing through Postnord. Holding the package for a full week before getting the invoice, and even then the payment system sometimes just doesnât work.
Do you happen to be in Sweden?
But maybe your motivation is different than mine - do you want to get the package ASAP and this extra VAT is not a problem for you or you would like to potentially cut down on this cost?
If the first then DHL would be best for sure, import clearance is not very time consuming right now
Denmark
Well, if its the same as in Sweden, which it did sound like.
If its shipped with Yun Express (which Hifigo uses), you will avoid all fees and vat afterwards.
With DHL Express, you will need to pay the VAT and their import fees, BUT you pay them AFTER you have received the package (unlike Postscam that does it the opposite).
Cutting down on the cost would be nice for sure.
Since July 1st Linsoulâs always given me the option to pay VAT in advance (always 25% here in Denmark)
Postnord also takes a handsome fee for procssing the shipment alone. Does DHL have an advantage in that regard?
if you pay tax in advance, (like it is on aliexpress) you should not be needed to pay any import fees or capture by postscam.
That has been my experience so far, hence why I was looking to do the same again. But if DHL is speedy enough and the cost in the end is largely the same (shipping is free at this purchase price), maybe I could just go that route.
Iâll wait and see if I get a response tomorrow.
