I just ordered a pair of these using some loyalty points I accumulated with my telecom provider (so essentially free) was wondering if anyone has heard them/owns them and can give me an idea of what to expect.

I am thoroughly impressed. These IEMs are damn exciting to listen to. I didn’t know bass like this existed in TWS IEM’s and then the outstanding noise cancelling is just the cherry on top.
This is by far the best audio decision I’ve made on a whim. My last ANC TWS IEMS were airpods pros and I was only ever ‘content’ with them, they were just ‘fine’. They got boring after a while but I lost them anyway.
IMO the ANC doesn’t even compare, and I was using foam tips with the pods, so far I’ve only used the C710Ns with their stock silicon tips and I don’t even feel the need for foam tips which is a first for me. I used to own Sony WH-1000XM3s when they were flagship, mind you they are over ear so you’d expect better ANC, but I feel like I’ve come full circle with Sony’s ANC impressing me all over again. I haven’t heard the WF-1000XM5’s but I feel like I’d be less impressed if the ANC was just as good, since thats what you’re paying for after all, you’re expecting as much. And I dont see how they could realistically get much better, there isnt much headroom for improvement, its already peaked, thats it, we have arrived, we have reached noise cancelled. Any better and I wouldn’t notice it anyway.
(In all seriousness, sure I can hear a slight hum if I stand directly under my obnoxiously-loud/dangerously-wobbly bathroom exhaust fan with ANC and no music playing, but that’s going out of my way to find its limit and unrealistic compared to everyday scenarios.)
I’ve only had these IEMs for a few days now and It’s been some years since I bought a new pair of headphones of any sort, so take that for what it is. I’ve always enjoyed good bass though never been particularly impressed, let alone excited, by anything with the mass beloved V shaped tuning. These are the golden exception. Maybe i’ve just been out of the headphone hobby for a while and there’s some nostalgia in my appreciation. The only IEM’s I had left were KZ ZSN Pro’s with a balanced 2.5mm cable run off a Fiio BTR5 and they sound like dogshit compared to these, not sorry.
Hopefully this short essay makes up for the lack of reviews/admiration for these budget bangers of an IEM, but if you were considering them/don’t already have XM5s/just need a new pair of ANC TWS IEMS, definitely give these a shot.
