Optimal settings for DAC

Hello guys
I have two questions:

  1. I have Geshelli Labs Enog 2 Pro DAC paired with Schiit Asgard 3 AMP and DT 1990 Pro headphones. What would be the optimal and best sound quality settings for this pair? I mean definitely 24 bits but what about Hz? 48000? 192000?
  2. Is there a point of purchasing additional sound card to make my setup sound even better?

  1. set your DAC 's bitrate and frequency to whatever format your music is set to.
  2. if you already have a DAC and amp that is basically a soundcard already but set externally

yeah i have my dac set to 24/192 in windows and use my audio players in exclusive/bit perfect mode so the dac matches the output to the source.
