Philips SHP-9600 Officially Announced

I hope they change the sound sig Abit to be a bit warmer and refine the treble a bit more but keep the price sub $100 I would really like to have a nice open back to reccomend to budget gamers

Most likely $80-$130 is my guess depends on if they I tend to make this a replacement or a upgrade to fill a price bracket. Same with the new fidelios model.

I hope it sounds better than the original.

same here I personally dont like the original

Super comfortable, but no bass w/o eq, and enough grain for a breakfast cereal. No thanks. A $100 Sennheiser smokes the SHPs.

Too each his own I guess. Haha. I use Sennhesiers primarily and I really like the fit-no issues.

Lol thats a good one. yeah it is a bit grainy, that bothered me too. but i think this next one will be fine. its been years since the shp9500 came out. the tech has come a long way. would be nice if it was under a 100$ too

Looks more modern in design looks.
Pads and headband really looks very same but why fix if it aint broken. Good for Philips.

Regardless, I am probably not buying one. That being said, I really hope it’s good for others sake. Hahaha.
