they revamped their lower end line by also releasing the HEL and new fulla
New Fulla being just a mic input addition and slight power decrease was a weird decision IMO. I would have liked to have seen a slight redesign or something with all the reports of low-level imbalance. I still might pick one up for my wife’s office and Xbox.
And if the Hell wasn’t so edgy gamer black and red i might have gone with one of those instead of a Modi Magni 3+.
They put higher quality caps on it I believe

I was not very impressed by the new and old fulla, and the main redeeming quality for the fills was the mic in. The hel is pretty nice but I like the interface amp stack more but I do think the sound quality is still good if you really want that form factor

If your console supports UAC2 (USB Audio Class 2, the standard for USB audio these days), then you’re golden. However, we haven’t tested all consoles. But for Windows 10, most Linux distros, MacOS, iOS, and Android these days, you’re set.
Yeah I saw that, just suspicious they didn’t allegedly try a console which is strange
I think the hel.is too expensive for me to choose going to but I am interested how it would compare to a Scarlett 2i2

Id do the JDS Labs Element II (little more or less depending on DAC). MUCH nicer.
Consoles is suck an overlooked market all they need is a spdif input and they are pretty much set
The Scarlett solo has a much better mic in and a better dac imo, but not as good headphone amp. But slap an atom or liquid spark on there and it’s killer
Mic is handled with the controller 1/8" in according to Reddit… .yeah looks like the Fulla works.
Nvm they need a mic but console comparability can’t be that hard
