Please help! Adam a3x how to connect them to laptop? Do I need a dac an amp or something else?

Hi, i need to connect two adam Audio a3x to the Laptop.

Also i want to connect my Phone via Bluetooth to it can you recommend me a device?

Or I can a portable dac/amp and hook it up on the PC when I am at home.

I really don’t know nothing what I will need and what not.

Preferably budget ones.

The back looks like that.

So I would love to get some help over here since I am a bit new.

Anyone knows what do I need to buy?

Adam recommends xlr to trs cables. Do I need to buy them? Or is there a better choice?
Does that mean my amp/dac needs those trs jacks too?
Or can I buy different cables xlr to xlr in example or something else?

I just want to listen to music gosh

That’s kind of interesting. My guess is you’ll need a USB DAC/Amp combo or separates with either single-ended RCA or balanced left/right outputs. If you want Bluetooth, the DAC will have to support that as an input.

So if i need a dac amp combo.
Which one with which outputs will i need?
I guess I need xlr to trs cables.

Is there a possibility to use it like this:

I have those two monitors hooked up on a device and also if I want to use Bluetooth I can hook that up too?

What kinda devices would I need to look for?
Bonus if I can use the Bluetooth device also on the go with headphones

I really don’t know what I need to look for.

Use something like this and use the rca out to the rca in on the speakers. # FiiO K7BT Balanced HiFi DAC Bluetooth Headphone Amplifier

Not 100% but I believe this would work as a cheaper option. # FiiO BTA30PRO Bluetooth Receiver Portable Transmitter Stereo Wireless High Resolution aptX/LDAC DSD256

Not hung up on the Fiio brand but they are cheap and tend to work.

Hi krafty they deliver with a double chinch cable do I need to buy the rcas separately or do they work with the double chinch?

I’m not sure what you are looking at but any cheap rca set (your needed length) will be better than what comes in the box.

Just one thing I saw. On the cheaper Fiio you would need to use bluetooth out of your laptop. It looks like the USB is for power only. But you can look around for similar devices. Most of the smsl and topping have usb input as well as the bluetooth as does the first fiio I suggested.

At a minimum, something like this Topping DX3 Pro’s feature set would get the job done for both PC and phone.

Thanks.
I bought the dx3 pro +

Now What RCA Cables would you recommend?

Do the cheaper ones do it?

Sure do…something like Amazon basics are cheap or for something more dope then Worlds Best Cables :+1:
