Plz which Sundara or Zues? Using Zen can

Ooooooooooo if you like the hard rock of the fire and the flames the zeus’s intense sound will make it sound much more powerful and strong

I think it right then from iv heard the zuez also has that bass to really bring it home. Only thing that holds be back is that I’m worried about soundstage but I guess I could hit that 3d button on then can and maybe that will help out enough

Yeah that would definitely benefit if you want some more soundstage, and hey, people who like bass, like looooooots of bass (example; me and every bass head I know), so you’ll get even more with the nice bass boost. From the sound demo of the sundara, I was disappointed in the lack of bass and impact. So ig Zeus is the best way to go!

On the z reviews channel, he creates a sound demo of every headphone he reviews. They give a good idea of the sound signature of the headphone.

Oh Ill check that out. If there was only a way of trying both at the same time burned in it would be the best. But Alas not possible. Especially the with linsoul if I make a mistake I’m fd lol. I’m sure it wouldn’t be that bad alot of people say the zues is a fun headphone. I just want it completely floor me on the
sound.

I’d prefer using hifigo instead of linsoul as hifigo is much more reliable from what I’ve heard

I cant trust them it seems strange they have sundara cheaper than elsewhere. But they are not an authorized seller for hifiman. So I’m thinking linsoul is the way I have to buy. But now that I’m thinking about it I wonder what there return policy is. Hmm I’m going to research tht see if I can test them that way.

Wait sundara is 369 I swore I saw it cheaper on that site. Hmm kabe hifigo is viable after all : )

Yeah I was confused as well lol. Hifigo is very reliable and I’ve heard people had to wait months for their stuff to arrive from linsoul.

“special29” for $29 off new sundara from Hifimans official website, it’s usually $350 without so $320 for new sundara direct from hifiman

I tried it the code doesn’t work . Thank you tho for offering the code : ) ol

hey sent you a PM with a backup code but “special29” has been reactivated for anyone else to use

(please note there may be only 1 use I did not confirm)

Are you perhaps associated with hifiman in any way? If you are, would prefer if you disclose that if you are going to share and promote discount codes

I am not.
I am just a business man working to preserve coupon codes on the behalf on the greater community.
I have received nothing from Hifiman and doubt I will.

Figured I should ask, since if some saw that they might think you were a dealer or something (since reading it, looks like you can create discount codes)

Hi mon quick question I’m still deciding between my headphones but now I’m trying to decide between dacs. Iv had e30 and now liquid spark dac but the vocals are not right on the ls dac. And it sound stage feels smaller than e30 but instruments sound great! But vocals were deal breaker at least to my ears.anyways looking for a new dac torn between el dac 2 or smsl su 8. Just basically anything under 300 but those 2 caught my eyes. Any any help would be fantastic : )

You have a zen can right? Hmmmmm so you like the staging and and vocals on the e30 and like the instruments on the spark?

Yea got the zen can in preparation for the sundara. And yes that’s correct. Yes to second part as well. : ) I’m using optical by the way xbox to sony tv to dac to atom so I can tell what dac is doing but have zen can ready to jump in lol

Hmmmmm, so I wonder if you would enjoy a schiit modius as that can connect balanced to your ifi (with the proper cable), as that would give you better stage width and vocals that the e30 has imo, and good timbre and thickness for instruments, so it might be a pretty solid choice. The el dac 2 would be a bit more forward and neutral than the modius, but a bit lower spatial recreation and timbre quality imo. The su 8 is a bit more bright analytical dac which is nice but might lack some body and naturalness in comparison to other dacs. I might also suggest an allo revolution dac with their 15 buck psu, as that imo is a really high performer for the price, personally I’d say it’s above the aforementioned options with more flexibility in sound, although it’s somewhat limited when it comes to connectivity and build
