Zeos praised the FH3 but didn’t keep it in his collection because it’s not unique enough.
He gave the Massdrop X Mee a “meh” which kinda means NO for him.

The FH3 has far more bass; The Drop Plus is DF-tuned with a subbass boost and a little bump at 8khz. As someone who owns both (I’m actually the guy who loaned the Drop Plus to Zeos), I personally would take the FH3 all day, every day. Regardless of price.
I feel like Zeos didn’t care for the Drop Plus because he didn’t care for the signature and that colored his review of it; I really disagreed with his assesment of the Plus, much like I was baffled by his review of the Legacy 4. That being said, he doesn’t really tip-roll IEMs, and everybody’s ears are different, so he may literally not be hearing what you or I hear.

I totally agree with Zeos dropping the ball on not tip-rolling and giving lacking reviews. The L4 is a great example where owners and other reviewers find them different than his review. Always worth looking around for other perspectives.
