So this is apparently a thing now. There are states that are prohibiting you from purchasing pre-built “gaming” PCs because of how much power they draw, I guess? I’ve just now heard about this and went to look at it for myself. But it doesn’t make any sense! Dell will cancel any order of an Alienware Aurora R12 with an i5 11400f/1650 Super if you live in the affected states, but if you want a XPS Special Edition with an 11900K/3070, well that’s okay!
