RCA cables instead of speaker wire

Saw zeos recent youtube him prepping for an audio trade show, mocking up a 2.0 system using RCA cables for a pair of RB42s speakers instead of conventional speaker wire. Why did i not know this ? Can you use any subwoofer cable and banana plug to RCA Y-adapter for such a configuration ?

Sure. It’s analog signal.
As long as all the wires are same way, they’ll have the same polarity. Sound goes in sound comes out.

But is there real benefits?
More movable parts and more connections most of the times ain’t the way.

IIRC, Neutrik’s RCAs are rated up to 6A, which should be enough for most speakers.
