Anybody know a good replacement for FiiO’s FD5 cable? That’s the best one ive had my hands on
Depends on what you want out of the cable. If you want modularity then the Dunu line are amazing I prefer the 02 because I like lighter cables. If you don’t care about modularity then Riku’s google doc in his profile has a lot of really good inexpensive cables to suite almost any need/style
i do like the Dunu line for that fact, i just need to know if anyone who has had that cable in their hands knows of an aftermarket one, it really was quite unique to me
You can get better cables than that in the aftermarket, but you can’t get the modular part.
For that Dunu is the best.

I also like the texture and the weight of the cable. But too bad, I don’t know what’s the reason its 2 pins can fit into my moondrop variations. So I had to look out for another cable to replace this
I am not a fan of the FH5 cable what so ever. I hate it.
Is the FD5 cable on the same level of WTF were they thinking as the FH3 cable?

I liked that aftermarket cable so much I purchased a few and used it on the FH3 as well.

@11_Clouds I love the FD5 cable. Sorry. Fiio announced they were going to sell it on its own but that never happened to my knowledge. It measures extremely well as well.
I have a sugestion and the solution to your problems 
Buy FD3 PRO, use the cable and still have a better set than FD5
Dont think he wants to support Fiio though.
I’m all aboard that fuck Fiio boat. But it’s the only way he get’s an MMCX modular cable for that price… Also he’d get a “free” iem.
(Just go to AE, open Xinhs’ store, get Graphene cable (8 or 4 core), have a blast of a good looking cable matching FD5, save some bucks )

I was just about to clarify but I knew you would see it, ya man I was hoping to find it on its own, still the best cable I’ve tried out of the limited experience I’ve had, I did buy balanced cables for the FH3 and Legacy 3 but man that FD cable was so nice, just hard to tell in photos what would be an equivalent
