Here’s my stock Tea cable…

Unboxing photo of the Tea and cable…

Yeah my cable looks diferent. Even the 2 pins connectors are different. This plug looks much better lol

The tips are also completly different. Guess it was a full revision…

Yeah, if my memory served, the cable had changed since I bought mine. The very originals were MMCX and they changed it without updating their advertising. I was pleasantly shocked when a 2 pin Mangird Tea arrived at my doorstep.

Got a photo of your Tea cable for comparison?

Plastic all the way…

The lesser (closer to zero), the better.

So dunu 02 is actually not as good as Xinhs graphene

Never expected it to. That graphene cable is very hard to beat, specially by a branded cable… This is the main reason more and more people are buying aftermarket OEM cables. You don’t pay brand-tax and gets you better built cables (oposed to mass production ones).

Other thing to note is that it uses a modular system, that might add some resistances, just as some cables with microphones do. That modular system you can only get from that cables

Maybe I shouldn’t be rec’ing the Tea as much as I do. I didn’t know.

It is is what it is.

Not for measured resistance. But the DUNU DUW02 has the interchangeable system and a lot of people like the lighter cable. It’s just cheaper and not as good a conductor as something better like the graphene clearly is.

I always advertise to get rid of the cable and to tip roll. That cable is not only bad but it’s also out of phase according to some people.

If you spend, let’s say, 30 bucks on a cable + 20 usd on tips +300 (sometimes less, i got it for less) on Teas, you still have a 350 usd beast 8)

It appears as time passed, they found ways to make the product less expensive to produce to maximize their profits. I know there was a revision to the IEM itself as well. I wonder if it sounds different to mine.

I surely hope not, but now it got me thinking…
All it was noticed was the bigger vent (which I heartly welcome).

I think the vent was larger and it was placed in a different location. It took my Teas a while to break in. At first, I could not use silicone tips at all of the DD would seize up.

So when I heard they improved the venting, I was excited about it, but I still have yet to buy the new one.

For science!!! If I was in the states or you were in the EU, I’d send you my set for testing.

@Resolution

Sorry do you have PW audio 28 copper V2 to test?

You shouldn’t be so obcessed with cables… They don’t matter (almost anything).

Get whatever feels good/you like.

With this said, the PW Audio 28 V2 is on my cart because I love the looks of it
