Has anyone tried removing the yellow foam on the 38x? Been using them for a while and I’m starting to get curious about the sound signature change after hearing the difference on the 58x. Would like to hear before tooling up too since these are screwed in place
It noticeably improves soundstage and takes away some warmth. It’s actually pretty nice.
Gotcha. Honestly like the warmth but it just feels nasally at times for me in a way that doesnt happen on other cans.
