So I had an issue on my KSC 75 that right speaker would make weird resonating sound, in some low down frequencies, especially annoying in bass heavy songs.
One night, drunk me decided to repair this issue. Not only have I managed to make dents in diaphragm
.I also managed to do it on completely wrong side of the headphones. (Left speaker)
Lovely.
Today (sober me) decided to make an attempt on repair .
Here is what I did: I used hair dryer to warm up the diaphragm. After 20-30 seconds half of the dents straightened up. The remaining ones I lightly massaged with plastic tool
(real feather touch) and they straightened up after bit of presuasion. Except for one but after some listening I didnt notice any sound difference to right one so I left it at that.
Here is the result:
If anyone is interested the right speaker with which I had originally issues with. Had just a dog hair touching it which created those weird sounds.
