Replacement cable for AKG K712 PRO?

I’ve recently broken part of the standard cable due to it being extremely long and getting caught under my chair numerous times and I was wondering whether there’s a certain place or specific brand of cable I should go for to guarantee quality as the AKG feels very cheap and tacky. Would definitely like to get a cable that’s shorter than whatever length this is

Hart Audio Cables makes a model that works on this headphone.
Can get a custom one in “International Orange” that color-matches pretty well if so inclined.
You can enter their eco-system of terminations, or they can make you whatever you’d like.

if you are willing to wait a while Xinhs does nice customs also (china is in lockdown though so maybe not)

Thanks for the recommendation and I ended up getting a quote on what I’d need but as they are in America the shipping is ridiculous and couldn’t end up going with them as I’m paying almost double. I’m sure their cables are good quality though as multiple people have now recommended it

It starts to pay-off if you use their proprietary connector to switchy-swatch between different terminations and have a bevy of headphones. Totally understand the shipping element of it.

Do you know of any brands or companies within the EU/UK? The shipping etc is a major put off when having to pay almost double including shipping and customs fees on top of it all? Not exactly trying to get an expensive cable I need something that won’t degrade my audio quality

Different termination will not have much use with the K712 as it can be only used single ended due to the 3 pin mini XLR.

What country You are living in? Remember VAT when you are living in the EU an ordering from the UK and vice versa.

Good choice. Had a 4 core blue and white cable from them for my Ananda back in the day. Great cable, soft and flexible. Don’t forget to post a picture here when you got it.

I went with the cheaper option in black to get a cable for now as my stock one has damage on it and I am not the biggest fan of the shade of orange that the akg comes with
