Yikes, I just thought that if you put a big planar driver into KSC shell…
You know… magic could happen
It might be power hungry because of insufficent magnet structure due to its weight limits, but I think we need a petition to make it happen
Havent seen anything like that so I cant say…

My second favorite bud right now (after the Moondrop Chaconne). And I will probably order the K´s Bell-WE AND the K´s Samsara K300…
Have you found the x6 replacement?
Unfortunately I havent. The K´s Samsara K300 seems to be pretty similar in how people describe it, so thats why I have my eye on it along with the Bell-WE.
So a metal-friendly big stage set?
Yeah, non-fatiguing treble and with a lot of mid-bass, very fun set.
will look at those, im actually really liking the X6, looking at the Ourart ti7 along with the Chaconne and Rose Maria II. X6 is gonna be hard to beat all around
Yeah, it really seems like the X6 is the “blon 03” of the earbud world, both in how they sound and in the fact that it doesnt seem like anyone can replicate the “magic” they have lol.
im seeing that definitely, perfect for office when i want to hear the outside world, great bass at low levels, just wish the comfort was a little better, would where the ksc 75’s if they didnt leak but these remind me of those somewhat tuning wise, gem find for sure
You dont like the MX500 shell?
It might be harder (if not impossible) for to find a bud with another shell type with a similar sub-bass like in the X6, because the MX500 shell (at least for me) sits a bit deeper in my ears compared to the other bud types I have tried. So thats why you get so much sub-bass from it compared to other buds.
its not deal breaker bad no not at all, just after awhile it does make my ear sore, im use the full foam cover, haven’t tried the others, but if its the only way to keep the sub bass im all for it
hmm, ok. I also feel that way with MX500 shells actually, but that happens after around 2-3 hours.
Well, I cant say for sure. But I do suspect that is the biggest reason for the sub-bass.
right on so regarding the rw-2000 would it be redundant to have since i have the x6 or would it be a compliment? Ive yet to read the full review but will here shortly, currently listening to your X6 review playlist which i wish more reviewers would include
Well, I do mention that the RW-2000 is not a “true upgrade” to the X6, which also implies that they are different. So I dont think it is redundant to have both, but, its not 100% certain if you will like the RW-2000 if you like the X6. Because the X6 has a lot more sub-bass and is warmer overall.
Right on ill read through it shortly, thanks for being so thorough on these
So I have not seen it mentioned yet, but has anyone tried to use silicone adapters or earhooks on hifi earbuds with or without foam. I would think the extra contact and surface area would help with low end etc. and then just finding one that will work with a given bud etc Am I crazy or is this worth a shot at looking into it? I may try to get an X6 and then see what works with it as a cheap experiment etc.
i was just looking at the adaptors too, am curious, wow listening to the Djuro track on his playlist, these X6’s sound so good im shocked whats coming out of these for the price and form factor.
