RikudouGoku's Database (IEMs/Earbuds/Headphones Ranking list)

So @Rikudou_Goku, to sum up this short bud period you had…
Basically buy LBBS and eq them if needed?

Sharing the link to my favorite trance artist since @TkSilver liked it as well.

For those that are interested in the GS AUDIO G3DA but didn’t like that faceplate. They have a $20 service to pick one from their other designs (IMO pick their SE12 faceplate super fancy).

gs audio faceplate

Just remember to add this in your basket

Rip, guess it isnt free anymore.

But hey, still a lot cheaper than Thieaudio and Fearless.

o.O never knew it was a free service. R.I.P

yeah

Still is not a bad price. Especially if you are like me and really don’t particularly like overly flashy designs that some IEMs have. Having the option to just get a blacked out one or even better is that light smokey kind of color you can sort of see through.

Unfortunately it looks like ThieAudio doesn’t do it for all of their IEMs, or at least the option is not there on all of them, maybe you can request it.

Yeah, agree. Its not that bad, although I do prefer it to be free. :joy:

But I wonder if they can make custom engravings/pictures…

That is pretty nice. I don’t think I would use it, but I can see why people would want that service. Unless it was just a sticker/vinyl wrap it would probably require a modified faceplate.

Seems like a very good gift to me. Sadly it looks like the iem itself has a 15db peak at 4k lol.

I am curious to hear your thoughts about that one!

The custom logo service from GS audio would be a great way to do a launch party advertisement for something higher end in the music world. Especially since they seem to make good products. Probably more effective then a gift bag with something more generic in it.

Well, I guess that I was lucky then. I managed to snag GD3a with the shell of ST6A for no additional cost.

They probably added it when they noticed how popular they were getting.:joy:

It makes me think of selling my other headphones and makes me wonder if I should start saving my pennies for Susvara. I picked this up NEW for only 650 bucks! It’s normally $1,800.00!!!

I customized my shell and would have easily paid the $20.

Though the G3DA isn’t ugly in my opinion, just wanted something more ‘low key’ for sitting on my work desk.

So still a solid rec for a self-proclaimed metalhead? …such as me

In stock it doesnt really have enough bass for it. But with the EQ preset it can be a good pick.

Nice, just asking because your headfi review doesnt include the eq rec.
Thx
