Well, how is it going guys? Anyone´s wallet still alive during this sale season? Mine sure is not, as I just ordered the Little Bear B4X and the GAD AD3 tube amps. 
Why did I order those 2? Well, aside from wanting more glowy things, i just got a way to get some pretty reliable measurements on source output impedances and the unloaded max output voltage.
For those that dont know, the unloaded max output voltage is the same data you can see here on both ASR and L7 sites.
Will add more of my sources into it over time, but so far the KAEI TAP 2 mini is quite impressive with its VERY low OI, as I expect the other tube amps I just ordered to have an OI in the double (whole number) digits. And the default dongle rec, the JCALLY JA3 being pretty much an ultra tiny apple dongle (sameish output power and OI).
Oh and RikuBuds? Well, GAS3 should not be too far away.

Yo guys, what’s the current meta on dsp cables?
The one I bought (Moondrop Free DSP) is built very well and most likely I’d enjoy using it - if only I could pair it with the Moondrop app.
Sadly, it’s not recognized despite using different app version. I’ll need to try once again with a different phone.
To sum up: no DSP benefits to me.
They are in a weird spot where they got a lot of potential but are annoying/frustrating to actually use.

Damn, I’ll just stick with my qudelix then. Hopefully that potential gets realized soon and we get the infinite power of DSP in a cable 
Yeah at the current state I can only give them a mild rec to newbies for their first iem. For anyone with a small collection or more, I see no need for it.
(especially if you are using local music and have easy access to PEQ apps.)

EPZ DF: Essentially a TWS-sized tip (size is smaller than usual, so if you are using L sized Azla tips these will not work), tightens and lower bass quantity, while NOT making treble brighter (tames it a bit), you get more vocals.

Got my Fudu and EA1000 today, just wanted to say a thing or two about them since the 11/11 sale is gonna be gone after tomorrow (although black friday is coming…).
My QC luck strikes back and Fudu matching is terrible but with that in mind I do have to say that I am not really impressed with it as the Shozy Form 1.1 which graphs very similarly and is ancient (4 years old) by now is still better to me (not much but still).
(Will talk and rank the Tang Sancai and the Divinus tips some other time)
EA1000, wont really say much right now since I do wanna wait for my EM6L to arrive (and Im possibly getting the Dunu Falcon Ultra as well) before I do anything more with it. But I do have to say that in stock, it is a bit bright and you might want to do some nozzle modding to tame it down (easy and cheap to do) so if you are both unwilling to do any mods (even if they are easy and cheap) AND sensitive to a bright upper-mid/treble then I think you should stay away from this.

If EA1000 is too bright for you, don’t worry about tuning kits and all that jazz. Just go get Ziigaat Cinno instead

Haha too late, was before graph was out and it would have been in the EA1000/Fudu package that came yesterday.

But still would’ve gone better than Fudu. Wasn’t a fan of that and I didn’t even try a set with trash QC
