One of my local audio store is like this. 2nd floor is for demo-ing stuff and the 1st floor is the audio cafe. I got my FH3 from this store while the starfield is a smaller store.
Heaven, thats what it is.
Ahahahaha it really is! During my last visit last month, the door at the corner in the first picture leads to this huge room for the speaker lovers to demo speakers and behind the camera in the first pic have places to sit down and demo stuff comfortably.
If you’re curious, the name of the store is “Stars Picker Audio”. They’re very helpful people too. Even helped me tried to resuscitate my starfield the first time without paying a single dime
They’re also the only store where I get to try out the intime earphones. They have the Sora 2 and Kira.
Jesus, there’s more headphones in this room than in all shops in my country (Slovenia).
All I can demo are mainstream JBL, Boss, Sony and some Focal. If I’d go there and ask them about Meze or Audio64 they would look at me like from which planet am I lol
hahaha, same here in Sweden.
Resolve was a bit tough on the EST112. I do agree the treble is a bit much for my personal taste.
SA6 > EST112? We will see. My SA6 has shipped from Linsoul. Should be here next week.
lmao, curious about your thoughts, as the only person who has given it a good writeup is Antdroid.
I may consider getting it around 11-11 or another sale date. I don’t think it will really be “worth” the $320, but it’s pretty.
Edit: been google translating some jp reviews on e-earphone, and it seems to contradicts Antdroid’s impressions lol. If it is simply a better Nameless, I think I personally would be happy.
Yeah, I know Antdroid has literally the only review in english out there…
There is this japanese review on it though: メタラーのヘッドホンブログ : 水月雨 Moondrop CHACONNEのレビュー

I really doubt it would be like that for me. That DD bass is too good to give up for a BA and also to give up the EST´s for BA´s…
I just dont have faith that BA bass can compete with high quality DD bass…
2021-04-21: Here is a post on my setups:
My portable setup should be pretty self explanatory.
The desktop setup however, is a bit more advanced. I am using my PC (Jriver music player) as my library, Topping E30 as my DAC that then gets connected into the JDS OL Switcher.
Which enables me to switch between my 2 amps, the JDS Atom which is connected as a preamp to my Swan M10 2.1 speakers can also be connected to other transducers but it is my least favorite amp so it gets the least use from my other transducers (It is on 24/7 due to it having almost no heat generation).
I switch over to the Schiit Asgard 3 when I want to listen to my transducers and not my speakers and is currently my main amp.
Yeah we should! I plan to go there again after raya. Would be nice to meet and share some iem stuff in person!
I’m considering trying out the SA6 at some point so I can have a more neutral signature to complement the v-shaped signature of the Sarda. Then I would use it for genres not as bass heavy. Curious to hear your thoughts on them @Resolution.
Neutral huh?
Well, maybe you should have your eye on the Tri Starshine (2ba + 2 EST):

Flat as a pancake lol.
lol, Its funny how its flatter than every “work” IEM I ve ever seen
(like Shure or Sennheiser)
I agree, but I’ll be able to tell you what’s up when it arrives soon.
Maybe his ears are just different?
He is perhaps among the 0,01% of the population who like that kind of tuning…
The problem is that he NEVER hates or gives a bad review on something. And with the amount of reviews he is doing, you would expect that a few of them would be way below average…
