On another note, I cannot imagine a company (and several other companies) pulling off selling a tremendously similar product.
For example, look at the Peacock. It has elements from the Phoenix. It is almost screaming “I am coming from SIVGA!”.

Apologise for my inappropriate attitude, just questioning that an “official” statement from a company who has been accused by another brand of cloning their products doesn’t seem to carry much force, to me, personally. You could be right though, and no need to assume I haven’t done my own research. It’s not uncommon that these chinese brands’ international rep claim different stuff from their chinese rep, and not everyone has access to the latter due to language barrier.

Nope. Even Sendy Audio officially states that it is a brand of Sivga 
Yeah both state they are part of Dongguan Sivga Electronic Technology Co. Over the years I guess I’ve conflated the two.
From what I read they were original two separate companies. The owner of Sendy is called Wang Kaijun whereas the owner of Sivga is called Zhou Jian. Sendy came out with the first version of Aiva (before they were sold outside China and before Sivga established its domestic presence) but there was a period of time when they basically disappeared (in China), during which Sivga produced the P-II and Sendy made statements about how they were not the same company but a clone from an OEM manufacturer and Sivga claiming they were the same and/or Sendy sold the design to them. This kind of controversy is not uncommon, an example being Musician Audio vs Denafrips.
As to websites, I’ve seen those too but I didn’t choose to trust them because a lot of Chinese manufacturers don’t even bother setting up their own website, or an international presence so they leave that to distributors. Thieaudio doesn’t, until not long ago Gustard doesn’t so I personally remain skeptical whether that Sendy website is from Sendy themselves.
There’s also the possibility that the original Sendy did go out of business for real, and the Sendy today has been acquired by Sivga so they are indeed the same brand hence on Sendy’s website it states it’s from Sivga.
I have no idea what the hell is going on with them, my intent was to raise my skepticism that I can’t personally trust everything they’ve claimed on their English website when I’ve seen their Chinese reps saying different things within the Chinese hifi community (because the English info may not come from the manufacturer themselves)

It’s a good example with Musician Audio and Denafrips. There are a number of “dual” companies which are almost identical. Take Sonnet Digital and Metrum Acoustics. There are more companies like these, but the Sivga/Sendy history does seem muddy, basically it’s hard to find any thorough history records regarding the two brands. I am sure it would be easier for someone who is Chinese or understands Chinese.
Once again, thank you for going into detail. It really helps, and with you fully expressing yourself, I can now understand your skepticism.

If I was going to drop $2K on a set of headphones, it would not be Sivga’s. But they are beautiful. And apparently VERY heavy.

I doubt it’s a metal or technology we haven’t heard of, sounds worse to say that than to name it. Like when eBayers put “NOT Nike” in the description so it turns up in Nike searches.
It’s probably a great material, I think they just undersell themselves with that wording.
