Who tf wants a balanced RCA?! Nobody asked for it, that’s why it flopped. It’s no news for companies to try to be the first to do XYZ… and then patent it. That’s not how it works.
A connector that deserves more recognition and praise is Estron’s T2.

This is pretty interesting, wifi based wireless audio. Im not so much interested in the tws offerings that will use this, but think it will shine more with something like those (currently) Bluetooth dac/amp sources.

I’d almost rather my phone didn’t have a camera sometimes. You ever done a deep dive on your Google profile and seen how many pictures, videos, and audio clips your phone has taken all by itself and saved to improve your personalized advertising algorithm? I found conversations dating back to like 2012 where I’m just bullshitting with a friend and my phone is clearly in my pocket, but our audio was being recorded and it would have had video, too, but it’s just black because pocket.

I’ve been through my Google account, but never found any picture or videos that I didn’t take myself.
I’m aware of the microphone being active at all times and being used for advertising (they didn’t even try to hide this), but haven’t heard ab the camera being used.

PEQ in sources should have been a thing a long time ago IMO, but glad to see more coming. (Fiio and JDS are the only ones I know with it atm.)

Speaking of FiiO and PeQ. Has anyone in EU heard anything about the new K17 availability? I see it in stock on Aliexpress and some dropshippers that pretend they are EU sellers, but none of bigger distributors (like DuneBlue) know anything about it.
Amp/dacs and the like are things I prefer to buy from a trusted EU seller to make sure I can benefit from proper warranty conditions.

Guys do you think FiiO’s latest K17 would be a good match for Hifiman HE6SE V2?
And it looks non-Android which is a win in my books! I’m happy with my source atm but this seems like a good competitive option to throw in the mix with the Shanling M1 Plus or the FiiO JM21. If it’s just a little slimmer than the M1 Plus then it’s on the right track.
