Whenever my winter depression kicks in, I like to wallow in it and listen to gut-wrenchingly sad songs. I’d be curious to hear if anyone else does this, and would love to hear what songs you reach for.

Damien Jurado’s Saint Bartlett Album is a beautiful sad masterpiece, every song.
The singer in the video actually wrote this song about his ex wife and their separation and divorce. She’s in the video too. Well written song and well recorded. This one always hits me in the feels.
