The only complaint I heard about Verite Open was from Z. Everyone else seemed like it. Maybe I missed some other complaints?

My impression too, but his review of the ZMF stuff was a collection of opinions that run contrary to most other peoples.

My only “problem” with open Verites when I first encountered them was that I already owned both Utopia and Stellia, and I could have gotten either just the Verite or both the Eikon and Auteur. The latter choice was clearly the most sensible, because by designating my wife the official keeper of the Auteurs we have managed to avoid what surely would have been many ZMF-related battles.

I’ve already forgotten when and where I read something about I think a sale ZMF does once a year on some b-stock headphones? Is that correct? I forgot when it happens in the year if so.

Zach will sometimes sell review headphones and BStock if you ask what he has available at times other than November, but November is when they go up on the website.

I also have F Two under my desk and they are all properly room corrected into my preferred frequency curve. They sound so amazing that it almost makes me cry

I know the feeling. i know the sound and i know how good they are.
Listening to a great song gives goosebumps and body hair chill’s every time. Maybe even tear might pop out.

This DAC ooks interesting - why did you choose this?
Because it has 8 channels so I can run both of my amps and my genelecs from the same DAC. It’s also the 2nd highest measuring DAC that Audio Science have ever tested:
