Very clean setup!! NIce!
The E30 looks so tiny on the Rebel Amp.
My current endgame. No more cans or sources for the forseeable future :â(. Just time to enjoy the music .
Only things I still have coming are the Geshelli Erish (whenever the preorder ships), LZ A6 minis (stuck in customs hell), and the Monoprice LP DAC (if it ever actually releases >.> ).
Only things missing from this photo are the DT770s and Moondrop Starfields.
I really like your standsâŚwhere?
Dirt cheap and really high quality comparatively to the other stuff I looked at. Would recommend.
Iâm too lazy to make my own lol
Thanks for the info⌠very nice.
Really nice setup there
Donât underestimate the size of the RebelAmp lol. Thingâs a monster. Just wished it weighed more so plugging/unplugging headphones wouldnât move it around. Might need some blu tack.
Could sit a BasX A-100 on top
Maybe sitting it on an anti-slip mat is enough?
Good idea.
Nice photo
you have a very nice setup there. those geshelli amps and dacs are nice and the liquid spark too. With the Sundara and Andover why keep the 4xx though?
Good Pic. Thatâs really, really solid bang-for-the-buck gear too.
Thanks!
Why not? Itâs a nice reminder of how good the Sundaras and my higher end headphones are. Also, I donât hate the 4XXâs sound either. Dunno why people rag on them so hard. Since theyâre so cheap comparatively I donât mind wearing them in bed (theyâre comfy af) and potentially breaking them either. Theyâre also a good baseline to recommend people other headphones that I own(ed) from.
I noticed a recent wave of negativity towards these as well which I donât understand. Theyâre a good intro into a higher tier headphone that most people wouldnât be accustomed to. They offer a planar driver and big soundstage and influence people to seek out dedicated amps/dacs. I loved these when I had them.
Different notes for different folks.
(Closest thing I could come up with that rhymes and is sound related.)
I think you nailed it lol
i still use my monoprice retros couple times a week. busting out the good, but not great gear, gives you a better appreciation of the better stuff. Plus a lot of entry cans have âfunâ tuningâs, and who doesnt like fun!?!?
edit: crap, meant to put i agree with ya at the start of that lol
yea. I have my 770s and 7506s and listen to them periodically. The 4XXs were the weak link. Selling that plus Sundaras paid for my Elegias. I do not regret that whatsoever.
