Thanks for giving me something that’s perfect to take out of context
My tip is big lol
M0N’s weighs 130 pounds.
Yes! Let’s see pictures.
Allegedly it’s an impressive rig.
Just the tip…
not sure that would be safe for work
I guess the expression butthead comes from this.
No, I think he’s calling me something else. Very passive aggressive. Though I don’t know why.
I see the resemblance now…
You know that José is just mean…
I don’t think that was directed at a person lol, just the comments about tips and large objects
yeah actually i was worried someone would misinterpret that lol. it’s just, he wanted to see mon’s thing. so i showed him what the tip probably looks like. hopefully that satisfies my boi luke’s curiosity
Oh, I wanted to see @M0N’s setup, not genitals. From everything said about it, it sounds impressive.
yeah, @Mon how do you have your audio setup? it would be cool to see the layouts… I have redone my desk and audio setup multiple times =) always nice to see pictures of others setups for ideas on cleaning up my layout or what have you!
I can’t show pictures because of my work situation, but on my profile I do have a diagram of how it currently is laid out (although in a week it will be changing due to things leaving and coming in)
It was on another thread on here that showed me how helpful diagrams and layouts are for finding out some potential weak points on a setup, ended up being something I do now as it really helps me identify potential solutions to any issues I have
are your audio setups at work? huh, I used to work in .gov and in secure spaces…but we wouldn’t be allowed audio gear in those spaces… so probably not that…
Now I’m curious what kind of work you do that would prevent you from showing pictures of your personal audio chain? As some one that used to have a TS (authorized up to SCI) clearance I can understand being relatively shy about pictures… but never heard of it being a problem that would interfere with work unless directly related (i.e. pictures of secure spaces and work spaces with possible documents out etc)
anyhow to each their own
that is a cool idea to use diagrams to identify improvements/or just keep things organized on a visual level =)
Nah just at home
Signed a contract when I was younger that I shouldn’t have lol, although it did allow me to get more funds for this hobby so I guess it’s still somewhat worthwhile lol, although once I am financially stable enough I am planning to quit and do audio mastering full time, but that’s still some years off. For now I just have to deal with some restrictions for what I can do online lol, I just have to make sure my personal and online life are separate and not something that can easily be connected. Would like to get out of it, but at the current moment I would prefer to keep my current job, and like hell I would want to deal with the legal nightmare of corporate contract disputes
I know, I didn’t even think of it until someone pointed out how it was helpful, and now it’s really useful lol
Also for now if you have any questions just DM me since I don’t want to clog this thread lol
damn…that is crazy… hopefully you can get out from under it…
odd contract stipulation remind me to not work for whatever company you work for!
Cheers
lol i know, just rolling with the jokes. on a serious note however mon has stated various times that he can’t show any pictures. i think it would be fair to not insist on seeing the gear everytime you get the shot. If you don’t believe he actually owns anything that he claims to own however, that’s fair enough too. There are plenty of nice endgame snapshots in this thread tho! just enjoy them!
