Should i buy a $500 IEM as my first IEM?

My poor soul cannot fathom a pair of IEMs significantly more detailed and capable than the Blessing 2. Guess I’ll wait and find out later on in my audiophile journey. By the way, I’m already sucked DEEP inside the IEM rabbit hole

It might be a little early, but what is a logical step up from the Blessing 2 without reaching Mest Mk2 level of price?

I’m probably going to pick one up for the hell of it when I order Mele.

But I will only buy the Pro, because I want the pro sound. lol

As far as I know the difference between FD3 and FD3 Pro is only in the cable

I’d be happy to stick the Mest MKII in your ears then. They are. It’s not necessarily a good thing especially if you enjoy a laid back tuning.

The Mest MKII is the most authentic audiophile replay that I’ve heard.

I actually was making a joke. TkSilver knows what I mean. We’ve been kidding about Fiio for a few weeks now?

Thanks. Well would you say the Dunu SA6 is a good upgrade from blessing 2?

I have listened to the aria and though it may not be offensive I found it thin. I think the l2 is better and would recommend that. Gears on getting the Aria you will most likely enjoy it just saying that I do not find it as a universal rec.

A B2/B2Dusk. What I wanted to know is that if, to your ears, dusk was just a bump in the bass or not when compared to original b2.

I really. Want to try them and get them for my collection, even tho I already own a relaxed set (Teas) and a detail monster (lands).

Well, thats why this hobby is made of preferences and libraries. I never heard the Arias nor the L2 tho.

I was saying its too late for the hole to suck that guy. Doesnt matter what set it is, there will be one that will make happy and wanting more, and there’s the rabbit hole. For me, was the Teas

No, I wouldn’t.

Well the cable is at least usable unlike the FH3’s or the Variations’ cable.

Both the Blessing 2 and Dusk are a great addition to any collection as long as the shells fit you. Some people do not like the nozzle size. They fit me great.

The FD3 looks to be a very good deal and the pro cable looks like it measures very well. Not much to mock unfortunately for only only 140 bucks. I have yet to hear it but from what I hear, I’d probably prefer the FH3 tho. I prefer the FH3 to the FD5.

Well except for the company, the fanboy reviewers, the claims made and the rest of the usual popcorn worthy stuff. So not much at all.

Absolutely, but the product itself is actually great and a great deal. Fiio has always made great stuff for the price. So unfortunate they are spewing misinformation and not sending review units to reviewers who give their honest opinions good or bad.

Exactly. That’s why I want one of them. Just can’t decide between B2 or Dusk.

Size should be ok to me, Lands are bigger in every way, I think

Happy to help you decide.

I think the Variations use the same shell, it is not just the size but also the shape. I can see why some would not like it, but personally the variations is one of my most comfortable IEMs.

That’s why I asked you above, your opinion matters a lot more to me than youtube videos

Is Dusk just a B2 with a bass bump or will I notice other stuff like detail loss, etc?
