So I current have a pair of dt 990 from beyerdynamic and I have those being powered by a sound blaster g5. Was curious if it would be beneficial to upgrade headphones or get a new sound card or upgrade both? Was looking into getting the Sennheiser HD 660s, Love to hear some feed back!! Worth noting that I primarily play games competitive ones at!
which version of the DT 990 do you have? there are several with different impedance.

well, the first step would be to get a proper amp and a DAC if you can afford one.
