It seems like Z’s impressions of the various LCD-headphones does not line up with what the majority of impressions that people have of the various LCD headphones. Could this be because of the fact that he has reviewed older pairs? Unit to unit variations? In the Audeze LCD-XC review it seems like he only used the Aune X7, which is a class A headphone amp designed for high impedance headphones, not 20 Ohm headphones. The LCD-XC also got a diaphragm update back in 2016. Zeos also has alot more headphone amps, and dac laying around today then past years.
