what pads would you recommend for shp9500 assuming you would be using it in a warm environment
I use shure 940 pads on mine and think they are actually just as comfortable if not more than the stock pads, also they are very close to stock sound imo.

Just remember you will either have to destroy your stock pads or buy an adapter from modhouse to pad swap on the shp9500
I’ll +1 on the 940 pads. That’s what I have on mine and I think they’re very comfortable, basically look stock, and don’t affect the sound too much.
Very slight increase in bass, and they made it so the drivers don’t touch my ears, which was nice. That didn’t bother me with the stock pads really, because the clamp was so light that even with it touching my ear it never hurt, but it not touching my ears makes it just that extra bit more comfortable.
I just got my SHP9500, love the sound but the fit is quite loose for my small head.
May I ask which modhouse adapter for SHP9500 should fit Shure940 earpads, round or oval? Does puting Shure 940 on adapter require any cutting of the earpad?
Thank you
The ZMF Universe perf suedes are my favorite pads for the shps
I use these with the SHPs with the Modhouse oval adapters.

Comfort beats out my ZMF Oval Suedes by a wide margin. The memory foam is just the softest I’ve used and leather is top notch. The width of them allows for better seal with SHPs so they aren’t so loose on my head
I have a heavily modded pair of SHPs so FR wise you might be better served with another material for your pair. Comfort wise I think these Defeans are hard to beat.
