Quick question for @Sonofholhorse @nymz on your custom versions, or anyone else that wants to chime in. Are they full customs taken off digital ear impressions, or are they a change to a resin shell thatā€™s still a universal fit?

Same as @nymz, I specifically wanted a universal resin shell. If you want to go full-custom fit, they can do that as well.

They take digital scan too - I tried to go CIEM but been told my ear canal too smallā€¦ so annoying. And from someone elseā€™s update apparently if any issue with fit, theyā€™d re-do for free (donā€™t quote me, still good to check with Shuoer rep)

The Valentines sale has me feeling a bit of pressure, Iā€™ve been trying to find comparisons of these EJ07 or M to Penon Volt but coming up empty. Can anyone do a brief rundown? Thanks.

I just wasnā€™t ready to jump at that price point. I have been on a bit of spending spree in the last month or so, and I need to pump the brakes. I have the Olina in the mail currently ( plus a CRA in the package ).

My set arrived. Have only given them a short listen so far but impressions are very good. I donā€™t seem to be having the resonance issue some have had which is a relief. Definitely my favourite set in my modest collection. I really enjoy the tonal balance, imaging, and wideness. However, I can still see myself going for the OH10 when I just want something fun and easy listening. Teas will probably take more of a back seat now as the 07m is essentially a Tea upgrade; as many have stated. The Fh3 will probably not see much time in the future. Please excuse the bad quality photos lol.

I do not agree with some thoughts from the review. The comparison with Mon OG and UP did not seem to be the most correct. I donā€™t understand what PD1 is doing there, it doesnā€™t belong there! But everyone has an opinion, but life is colorful. :upside_down_face:

Wait, the EJ07M is bright? Last I heard it was widely considered polite in the treble.

This furthers my suspicions about nozzle length skewing impressions on it.

Also, does the sub bass quantity really match or outdo that of the monarch MK1?

I donā€™t know what this man hears, but most things about the sound are weird. I donā€™t hear any of this with my 07m :slightly_smiling_face:

I mentioned why those IEMs are in the comparisons, the first set is the other tribrids I have here at the time I wrote the review and the second set is showing what the EJ07M would be a good upgrade path for., not directly comparing them to it.
