I like the Cadenza… until I started to notice the treble roll off.
Would the EA500 fix that? Or is it something else completely different?

I think these guys kinda answered/will answer that…
and TDM has this coming out soon so hopefully that will help too?..
Thank you both
Very helpful!
I think this is the main point. People say wild things on the internet (wilder than this) and truly mean it. Even with how close this community is we don’t know each other super well so its very hard to tell the difference between a joke and being serious.
@GooberBM mad respect for backing Dom. You are a good dude!
Agreed, @GooberBM, thanks bruv you a real one I was moving all day yesterday so when I was finally all done late last night, sitting in my car about to head home after dropping the moving van off, I opened up good ol’ HifiGuides to catch up and ….
But look, some bridge trolls who live under URLs and speak only with Memes will say some crazy shit like what @Erokh said and actually mean it, but I think I just hadn’t learnt my lesson from the first time. Now that I understand it was meant to be a joke, it’s all love.
In other news - the EA500 has not left my ears since I got back from NYC. The Radius deep mount clears are probably as close to perfection I can find with all the tips I have. The problem I started to encounter with the Dunu tips is the fit security, it felt like the Timeless 2.0. After a while, the IEM would find its way out of my ear on the right side. The Deep Mounts are stupidly secured and I think I prefer the sound as well.
is there a better source for deep mounts than amazon.jp? I want to try them but shipping from jp is expensive last i checked
I’m lucky because Brandon took the slug for the shipping for the Radius Deep Mounts. I basically bought my pairs off of him. I too was skiddish buying off Amazon.Jp. Maybe he would know better? But I’ve only ever seen them on Amazon.Jp.
I’ve only seen them on Amazon.jp, sorry. But I actually use the TRN T-Ear tips on my EA500s, so that is a more accessible option that I’d vouch for
Only seen the tips themselves sold on amazon.jp, but Radius got some iems that includes those tips. So maybe u have better luck finding those…
Are those the A7 filters? if those work, then you can also try the A6 filters.
Let us know if they work. Tons of modding potential if so.
When ever I see stuff like that then I’m…
And I don’t use mods and EQ. But if someone likes to use mods and an EQ, let them use it.
For sure I just keep and enjoy sets I don’t need to fuck with…but yeah if that’s your bag then FairPlay
The JVC FX9 Spiral Dots are most amazing on the EA500.
As for the mod someone needs help reach out to me.
I am buying a second set. One with the Bass mod one without both are golden. But I like my bass
I appreciate the option but I would agree in that if it’s something I “have” to do have them sound good then there is an issue
Having said that, I like a lot of bass in my IEMs so most times my options are EQ or vent mod and I would much prefer the latter vs the former
Cal, would you say you want all of your IEMs to have a lot of bass, or are you like me and you pick up a set depending on your mood?
My sensai said to me why choose?
LOL I love the EA500 as is better with Bass mod and no matter what source I listen to with or without EQ ability I can pick them up and just go. Personally the Bass mod doesn’t kill anything else and it’s no were near overbearing so winner winner chicken dinner!
I’m a one and done kind of guy. I picked up the rosefinch cause I just had to hear it and for what it does it does it well but I honestly don’t listen to it too much.
I don’t have the energy to switch IEMs around for different genre or moods during the day. My goal is one iem that hits my whole library well and since it has a lot of hip hop it needs bass.
At night I throw in the buds and same thing goes there. One go to bud that hits my library well
