Single ear headphone suggestion

I’m looking for a birthday present for my dad. He’s into audio but he’s completely deaf in one ear. So he tends to stick to speakers. I was wondering if anyone knows of higher end, mono single ear headphones. Everything he does have is basically for monitoring broadcasts or recordings.

There are adapters like this: https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-107160-Stereo-Adaptor-Plated/dp/B001RCZ14U?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_2

That will take a stereo input and convert both channels to mono, rather, both L/R channels are in each ear.

He has something like that. He just doesn’t find covering the deaf ear comfortable so I’m looking for a single ear alternative.

Koss ksc75 or similar? You should be able to cut a wire if you wanted to. There are also open ear headsets, for gaming, but I’m not sure if that is ideal.

Beyerdynamic DT 252 ? Or the Audio technica BPHS2S would work

I looked up the bt 252 on Amazon. Had to go to US Amazon to look for reviews. A few folks seem to like it for music so that’s great. Those look good like a good option. I’ll take a look at the other pair as well
