I still really want to know what the Blons sound like with Aiva pads. This is such an interesting lineup, it’s like T50RPs but different headphones instead of mods.

I had it with the Aiva pads and Basically it sounds the same as the Aiva. The Aiva sounds little bit better.

I do not, but I’ve heard the Aivas for about half an hour and came away slightly impressed, which is saying a lot considering they arent my preferred sound signature. I was impressed that the treble lacked any hint of compression or grain, which is typically one of the downsides of open back planars (ahem
cough cough
Aeon Flows).

I heard the 2’s sound better in every way, so what you said confirms what others have been saying. I am interested in testing them out. I wanted to love the original AF, but I just didn’t.

Riperonies it looks exactly like my aivas
 even the air tuning on the back looks identical. If any of the variations had a chance of souding the same it would be these. The Aivas are walnut as well?

I will receive these tomorrow, so I will test them out and give everyone my impressions. What is interesting to me is that the Major Hifi review on the Sivga P-II said they are warm and not for critical listening, which sounds nothing like the Aiva’s. So either the reviewer is just really used to bright headphones, or the driver is completely unrelated. We shall see

Thats reasuring to hear as an owner of the Aiva’s, I still think the build quality mainly the attention to detail on the Aiva’s are something so special feels like something truly cared for like a ZMF
