So im looking for a clean and fairly linear amp around the 200-250$ range and was considering the SP200 (initially i considering the topping a50s but with everything, going on I’m not sure)
There is a BIG but though, it has to be from Amazon (can be from different amazon’s website), why?
I live in Israel, and amazon is one of the only companies I trust with shipping here with major delays or hidden fees with shipping (also the return policy is a big plus)
Own SP200 and Schiit Magnius. Highly recommend Magnius.
I don’t recommend SP200 or any THX amps in general since they’re not neutral. They’re sharp. You can listen to this sound demo. Even here it’s fairly obvious that THX is sharp:

Magnius is great. Topping A50s is a good choice, too but Magnius have XLR input.
I couldn’t find Magnius on Amazon, though.

Ya i know the no schiit audio is a real pain in the arse
overall selection for me is pretty bad so aside from the a50s I’m not seeing a lot of options
I would also take the Magnius over the SP200. I would also take an Atom or a Geshelli Erish over the SP200.
Well, the a50s is supposed to be pretty good, but I haven’t heard it myself.
ya it mostly has been relatively praised (in the community and by DMZ and Z) so i think i should be good but i wasnt sure if i wanted to go topping due to the whole L30 thing
I just ordered up a SP200. Seems Many love it, and many don’t! That makes it interesting to me. I’m thinkin the fact that it’s not neutral is going to work in my favor. We are going to find out soon enough. The journey is half the fun. I may hate this thing! LOL! Somehow I don’t think so…
