Yes definitely. I just wish it had more subbass. But as theres venting in the shell design, it wasn’t meant for to be subbass heavy in the first place. By the way, what setup do you use when listening to Twilight? (Tips, cables, sources)
There’s a couple of London Grammar’s tracks that are mixed to clipping in the vocals. Real shame as Hannah’s voice is stellar. Anyway, it’s a great track to test how a particular IEM handles the clipping/distortion. Some smooth it over like the DynaQuattro and others like the Twilight bring it to light
See what I did there?!
Track: ‘Rooting for you’ on the studio album Truth is a beautiful thing
So you also have the DQ! I am still undecided whether i should sell off the DQ to have fund for a DAP as i have Twilight now. But i like its bass so much that whenever i listen to it i just can’t make up my mind.
The sad truth is subbass is a tradeoff for the amazing stage and openness of Twilight. Make no mistake. Without that roll off, the rest would be much worse.
Is there any way to mod it for a bit to maybe several more steps up in bass without losing too much of it’s magic?
not entirely, no
That includes even a couple or so db I presume?
