I need some powered speaker to put on my desk. I would like to spend under $200.
Hopefully, black Friday plays in my favor.
I appreciate any recommendations!
PreSonus Eris, Mackie CR-X series.
I have the Mackie CR-3X monitors in my office at work. They were suggested for quality listening at low volume levels and I can’t argue with how they’ve performed.
I have the Edifier R1700BT, which I recommend in that price. (I think they’ve now been replaced by the Edifier R1700BTs which I assume are just as good if not better.)

i second this…while I haven’t heard those particular Edifiers, they have excellent value for the $ and while the CR-3X are a lot cheaper, you are paying for what you get. they get positive reviews, but only if you think more than 50% positive but less than 75% is good.

also currently have the $100 edifiers on my desk very good value
iLoud Micro Monitors usually hit $200 during sales.
