This is kinda wierd. I cant get the Spotify app to play on my computer, windows 10. Ive shut it down and my dac. plugged and unplugged and nothing. But if i put on spotify’s web player on and it will work fine. If i change the page or close the browser its back to not playing. Anyone know why?

I had a similar issue lately. I went into Windows sound settings, changed the shared mode sampling frequency and it worked fine. I was then able to change it back and it still worked fine.

I’ve had that issue more often with XMOS USB driver DACs. I’d just toggle the default windows device in sound settings and it would work.

the only time I run in to issues with playback not working in Spotify is cause it’s working on another device and I’ve got to switch to the one I wish to use at that moment.
