Standard Gaming Audio Sample Rate

Hey hope everyone having a good time in these rough few weeks.

I was wondering, whats the standard sample rate used by the developers/creators for AAA games and Indie games?
12/24/32 bit? Or even 48 bit?

16bit 44.1khz, almost exclusively (some vary the sampling rate to 48khz). A few games even bug out if your output is set higher than that.

16 bit @ 44.1 kHz (aka CD quality) is widely regarded as standard (which means some use it, others don’t, good luck).

In studios, you often find 24 bit @ 96 kHz. Everything above this just makes the files huge for little gain.
