Can I ask what DAC are you using for your STAX setup?

Can only recommend the l700 pads on the l500 :grin:
For another question does the SRM 353 sound better than my old SRM 1mkII or comes the quality leap only from the big boi energiser on forward?

Yggdrasil GS and Hugo2 , Although the Hugo2 is a better match IMO due to the crossfeed function and the more impactful sub bass

Thanks! Iā€™ve been DAC shopping lately and have been looking for one that plays well with all my gear. I think for now Iā€™ll probably pick up a D90 and save my pennies add to the collection later.

I canā€™t agree more the leather pads are so comfortable.
I couldnā€™t tell you the difference between older gear and newer. Iā€™ve only played around with the SRM D10 and 353X. I can tell you for the volumes I enjoy listening at, I like the 353X way more. It just sounds more dynamic to my ears. The D10 is great and I still use it for patio listening but I think a little more power wouldā€™ve been better than having a built in DAC.
