Hey everyone, I was dealing with annoying crosstalk issues on my SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1. My friends could hear my game sound because of poor ground isolation on my laptops onboard C-Media audio jack. To fix this, I bought the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm dongle to bypass the onboard audio. When I plugged it in, headphone audio was clear, but my headset mic didn’t work. Windows didn’t even show an external USB microphone under the Recording tab and kept using my laptops built-in mic. How can i fix this on my Asus laptop?
apple usb c dongle doesn’t have mic passthrough it only has “standard” 3.5mm (dongle is 3 pole mic passthrough would be 4 pole), there have been some “cheaper” desktop dac/amps that have a mic passthrough recently idk if there are any dongles that do
