It’s been a few years since cb3723 and I throttled everything.
Have already begun gathering a few older and newer sets to see where it sits in 2020. It will be using a portable amp though and any/all eq settings will be shared as before.

I forgot for both you and op that the 1 more triple over ear aka on ear is pretty beastly for the buck in low end, you just have to deal with comfort. They will take eq tho… 
So I think I’m going to go with either Eikon or Auteur. What would you recommend for fast heavy metal, bass heavy edm, and ethereal female vocals?
So I would say the eikon due to it’s a bit thicker and more fun sound imo, but both are pretty great lol
