Suggestions on which I should buy between the M-Audio Bass Traveller or the Massdrop Objective 2 Desktop amp?

M-Audio Bass Traveller:

Massdrop Objective 2:

Tomorrow I have the opportunity to buy either of these amps for $35USD, the M-Audio would be new from a physical store, and the O2 is technically secondhand but still in the original packaging, so never used.
Whichever I end up choosing will be paired with my GSX1000 amp/dac and be used to power Phillips Fidelio X2HR and SHP9500. (for now)

In my particular use case the M-Audio’s look good because they have a bass boost which I’d highly appreciate and they natively support TRRS which means I can use my Vmoda boom pro with this and my dac, without having to split the ground.

On the flip side of this, the O2 in terms of build and sound quality, as well as pushing power, based on my research, is the clearly superior amp. It also means that if I choose to purchase some harder-to-push headphones in the future I’ll essentially be ready to go.

But it gets complicated now because I most likely will run into ground loop issues if I use it with my Vmoda boom pro, and on a side note, I’ll have to purchase a separate RCA to TRS cable, (probably only cost a few bucks but I’d still be going out of my way so I thought it would be worth mentioning.)

Im personally leaning towards the O2 just because im a sucker for a good deal and even though I know I could technically get the M-Audio for the same price at any later date, I wont because i’d rather spend money on headphones and other equipment rather than another amp.

What’s your opinion?

The o2 is a way better amp and deal imo, you would really be doing yourself a disservice for not picking it up at 35 buck imo. Just my 2 cents

Thanks M0N after a bit more research and peoples opinions I’ve decided to go ahead with the O2
