I think we have meet before. Yep, I got Land and already burned in for 150+ hours. It sounds the best I have heard so far.
Sure we did! same username on head-fi as well. Mine is only 13 hours till date, but I’m loving it nonetheless. Which cable are you using? I got the PAC480 but cannot use it constantly a it’s quite heavy.
I recommend nicehck darkjade. I have variety of cables mostly more expensive than darkjade but nome of it can compete with darkjade (only when combo with Land). I have talked with Dsnuts, he also has it and he said it sounds great together. But he said penon osg is better than darkjade so I buy it and agree with him so I already switch to osg. Darkjade is 8 cores so it’s quite heavy. So does OSG sound better than darkjade?
I actually have a bunch of cables coming - CEMA Electroacousti RS, RX, Thieaudio EST cable. I also do own Penon OS849 (currently using with Land), and Effect Audio Ares Mk.II (sent for retermination to 2.5 balanced). Slex said the EST cable should match well with Land, as mids become more profound and timbre becomes more refined. I am excited to say the least!
Yep OSG is noticably better than Darkjade. It gives better resolution and sounds brighter. Darkjade is excellent cable, wide soundstage, very good resolution for its price. It just sounds dark; bass-focused. I don’t like it at all with my previous iem but you can use 023 tuning on Land to get balanced tuning. Which I think it’s already the best before I get OSG,
I still cannot figure out which kind of cable would work best with Land tho. As long as I’m in this hobby, more expensive product is mostly higher quality product. There’re really some expensive garbage but only a few. I doubt those cheap cable could brings out true potential of Land. As all of my sub $100 cables don’t sound well with Land. I guess best cable for Land should be high resolution, wide soundstage and balanced sound cable (this line must trigger cable disbeliever real bad lol) which penon OSG is that cable.

I really cannot invest that much into cables now…most I can get is the Orbit, that too for the aesthetic purpose.
