this hobby just moves too fast for the used market. With a new “killer” IEM coming out every couple of months no one is going to care about a year old release.

True - but I’m still surprised because the SA6 MK2 is a pretty well regarded IEM overall. IEM’s can last a long time if cared for as well. Maybe ChiFi QC is dissuading that viewpoint.

I think it may be kind of a weird deadzone; people that lusted after the SA6 mkII or a similar IEM at that pricepoint likely already got in and out, and the more budget-concious are likely to find something that satisfies or just go through various other budget options far below that pricepoint. Kinda like how price tiers see serious stratification, peoples’ interest or regard for IEMs perceived in those tiers also seems to have a lot of ‘holes’.
