The Sendy Aivas are fantastic!

what is “fazored”?

20 character limit

While this is kinda a bit marketing… it does an alright job at explaining it

So is this strictly a Audeze thing or do other companies do this? How effective is it? Can headphones be moded for this? And what does Bruce Lee have to do with headphone audio technology?

It is mostly used by audeze. If you design a headphone with fazors in mind I bet it can be pretty useful, but I don’t think it’s something everyone needs to have or care about. I prefer my non fazored older LCD 2.2 over the new fazored 2. You can mod fazors, a common way is the fuzzor mod for m1060 and I think the folks over on the phantom thread are trying fazor mods as we speak. It depends from headphone to headphone how it would react to a fazor. And I have no idea why Lee has anything to do with this

Hi MON, know I asked this prior but can’t remember your answer. Is the Ether CX or ether c flow a better HP than the sendi aiva? Just overall a higher tier? Thanx

I think it is, but it is different. The ether cx/flow is more resolving with more impact and refinement, but I do think that it is a bit more dynamically compressed. TBH if you could swing one, if you could grab a aeon 2 closed I think it beats out the cx and the flow 1.1 (I sold my either c flow 1.1)

Thanx MON :grimacing:

Hi @M0N I can get a Topping DX7s used for a good price. I know its a Dac first and amp second. But how does the amp compare to the LS? Or otherwise LS+D10 vs DX7s? Thanx

That depends on the price?

How much can you get it for? The dx7s is going for a more clean sound

All in all with shipping and taxes the LS cost me about $200, the D10 with shipping and taxes will come to around $130. I can get the DX7s with the remote for $350. Price aside which would sound better. LS+D10 or DX7s balanced

So basically the same money. Hence why I ask purely from a sound perspective

The dx7s and LS/D10 is the same price

Nvm see the output impedance is way up there. Wont play nice with my low impedance Aivas.

Sorry I missed the question, yes it sounds good with higher impedance headphones but the output impedance poses an issue to lower impedance headphones (although it’s less prominent with planar)

So its not a train smash then. So for the same money which is better? DX7s or LS+D10?

For the sendys I am going to go with the stack over the dx7s

Ok will stay with the stack then. Thanx MON. But the DX7 PRO is probably miles ahead of the DX7s amp wise

The dx7 pro was an improvement, but still high output impedance
