but mkiii, prestige or ltd not big brightness like known bright iems etc, moondrop ssr, olina, a4000?
nope, I wouldnāt call any of them ābrightā. MKIII is V to my ears and on the edge of bright but I wouldnt call it so
thay neutral or warmth neutral?
Idk about the OG Prestige but LTD I would say is neutral whereas the MKIII is V. Neither are particularly warm. imo the Thie house sound is not warm so if that is what you are looking for I would look elsewhere
Iāve listened to both the LTD and the OG and Iām here to say the LTD is much smoother in the treble, with less masking and spice in the consonants region. The OG was unlistenable for me personally, but that comes down to HRTF, especially when weāre talking about the consonants and certain parts of the FR that are harsh to an individual. I wouldnāt call any of them bright, the only Thie that looks to be bright using just a graph because Iāve never listened to them would be the Oracle MK2.
thie house is neutral with bass or subbass boost? correct, if i like brighter treble must see at another maker ? neutral bright sound?
Heās already explained as I did previously, in addition to others - in that itās a V shape sound, so elevated bass and treble, with clean mids.
The mmk3 has decent midbass as well as elevated sub bass. Itās not lacking in either.
Itās not neutral or neutral-bright.
You can clearly discern this from the graphs that are uploaded to squig.
I donāt want to be rude, but it feels like youāre just going around spamming threads with the same questions, even after people give up their time to explain their impressions and differences to you.
set the hidition viento reference as the reference point for something absolute flat sounding and the b switch for a more downward sloping flat sound. then compare to other iems around bass or treble or midrange area. 99% of iems are colored in some way less or more.
All iems that have 4 EST drivers are well above 1000$ā¦so the price is more than fair.
Againā¦FiiOās minimalistic use of BA drivers on this model, is an approach i really dig.
If they manage to pull it off again and deliver sound quality that competes with much more expensive and complex hybridsā¦iāll bite.
They wonāt make it
